報告題目：On the combinatorics of three truncated theta series

摘要：The past decade has witnessed a growing interest in the truncated theta series, the most interesting of which are the truncated theorems of the three classical theta identities attributed to Euler and Gauss. In this talk, we first classify these truncated series into two types, and reveal the relationship between them, and make a strong conjecture on the truncated Jacobi triple product series, which improves the original conjecture of Andrews and Merca. Then we provide a unified combinatorial treatment to understand these truncated identities. Finally, we propose a possible and more direct approach to deal with these truncated theorems.
報告人簡介：
王也洲副教授,電子科技大學(xué),2011年畢業(yè)于南開大學(xué)組合中心，目前主要從事代數(shù)組合學(xué)的研究，包括組合計數(shù)、分拆理論、對稱函數(shù)等。主持完成國家自然科學(xué)基金1項，多次參加國際學(xué)術(shù)會議。在《Advances in Applied Mathematics》、《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》、《European Journal of Combinatorics》等國際一流數(shù)學(xué)期刊發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文20多篇。
