摘要：The isoperimetric problem, equivalent to the isoperimetric inequality, was known in Ancient Greece. The natural extensions of the isoperimetric inequalities are Alexandrov-Fenchel inequalities. We will address the recent advances and applications in integral and convex geometry. The talk may cover some joint works with N. Fang, X. Li, C. Shi, H. Wang, W. Xu, C. Zeng, Z. Zhang and B. Zhu.
報(bào)告人簡介：周家足是西南大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)院教授，數(shù)學(xué)研究所所長;中國數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)第11屆常務(wù)理事；香港求是杰出青年學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)、中國政府友誼獎(jiǎng)、重慶市國際科技合作獎(jiǎng)、重慶市友誼獎(jiǎng)；湖北省楚天學(xué)者主講教授；中華人民共和國成立60周年（2009）、70周年（2019）慶典嘉賓；論文發(fā)表在Trans. AMS 、Adv. Math. 、Adv. Appl. Math. 、Sci. China Math.、China Ann. Math. 等期刊上；主持國家自然科學(xué)基金及教育部重點(diǎn)基金8項(xiàng)。
