摘要：Mazur's sphere theorem shows that the unit spheres of $L_p$-spaces, $1\leq p<\infty$, are H\"{o}lder homeomorphic to the unit sphere of a Hilbert space with explicit H\"{o}lder estimates. In this talk, we introduce some related applications of the theorem in the nonlinear geometry of Banach spaces, coarse geometry and theoretical computer science. This is joint work with Bo Xiang.
報(bào)告人介紹：程慶進(jìn)，廈門大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。近期主要研究Banach空間球面結(jié)構(gòu)理論及其應(yīng)用。主持多項(xiàng)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)面上基金，并參加一項(xiàng)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)重點(diǎn)基金。在J. Convex Anal.、J. Funct. Anal.、Studia Math.、Sci. China Ser. A等國(guó)際期刊上發(fā)表SCI學(xué)術(shù)論文20多篇。
