Title:On the Minimum Average Distance of Binary Codes

Abstract:Let $\Bbb F_q$ be a finite field with order $q$ and $n$ a positive integer, where $q$ is a positive power of a prime $p$. Suppose that the product of distinct prime factors of $n$ divides $q-1$, i.e. $rad(n)|(q-1)$. In this paper, we explicitly factorize the polynomial $x^{n}-\lambda$ for each $\lambda\in \Bbb F_q^*$. As applications, firstly, we obtain all $\lambda$-constacyclic codes and their dual codes of length $np^s$ over $\Bbb F_q$; secondly, we determine all LCD cyclic codes and LCD negacyclic codes of length $n$ over $\Bbb F_q$; thirdly, we list all self-dual negacyclic codes of length $np^s$ over $\Bbb F_q$.

報告人介紹：符方偉，分別于1984年、1987年和1990年獲得南開大學(xué)理學(xué)（數(shù)學(xué)）學(xué)士、碩士和博士學(xué)位。1987年7月至今在南開大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院工作?，F(xiàn)為南開大學(xué)陳省身數(shù)學(xué)研究所教授和博士生導(dǎo)師、中國電子學(xué)會信息論分會副主任委員、中國密碼學(xué)會理事、中國密碼學(xué)會密碼數(shù)學(xué)理論專業(yè)委員會副主任委員、學(xué)術(shù)期刊《密碼學(xué)報》、《電子與信息學(xué)報》和《應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)》的編委。入選2000年度教育部跨世紀優(yōu)秀人才培養(yǎng)計劃。2000年獲國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼。主要從事編碼理論及其應(yīng)用、密碼學(xué)及其應(yīng)用、信息論及其應(yīng)用的研究工作，在國際和國內(nèi)重要學(xué)術(shù)期刊與國際會議論文集上發(fā)表論文200余篇，作為負責(zé)人承擔(dān)了國家自然科學(xué)基金和教育部的多項科研項目，作為課題負責(zé)人承擔(dān)了科技部973項目。
