ICSA 2023 China Conference invites applications for the Junior Researcher Award. Awardees will be selected from junior researchers who submit their papers for presentations at the conference to be held in Chengdu, China, June 30 - July 03, 2023. Students or Junior Researchers who received their degrees no earlier than January 1, 2018 are encouraged to submit a research paper on statistical methodology, novel application of statistical methods to problems in other disciplines, or other suitable contributions to statistics and data sciences. Jointly authored papers are acceptable, but the applicant is expected to be the lead author and present the work in the meeting. In addition, the applicant must be an active ICSA member or joins ICSA at the time of registration, and the paper must not be published or accepted before May 1, 2023.

1. A cover letter with contact information

2. The curriculum vita of the applicant

3. The manuscript of the completed research.

The application deadline is May 1, 2023.

Papers will be reviewed by the Junior Researcher Award Committee of the ICSA 2023 China Conference and up to five award winners will be selected. Criteria for the selection will include, but are not limited to, novelty in theory/methods/applications, significance and potential impact of the research, and clarity and well-writing in English.
